Bear Scare Fun Run 2017
Otter Lake and Lincoln Elementary communities in White Bear Lake partner for this uniquely fun event! All proceeds benefit these schools.
Registration/check-in and race start was at Otter Lake Elementary (1401 County Rd H2 E, White Bear Lake, MN 55110). Participants came in costume to enjoy a very fun walk or run to raise funds for Lincoln and Otter Lake Schools.
The routes were the Skeleton Skip (1/2 mile kids run), Two Miler, and the Freaky Four Miler.
This Freaky Four Miler, the longest route, is an "out and back" that begins at the main entrance to Otter Lake Elementary on County Road H2. The turn around point was on the north side of Lincoln Elementary and the finish line is back at OLE.

Anyone who came in costume was entered into a drawing to win a small prize.
Thanks to our sponsors we will had pre-race stretching and roll-outs, really healthy and yummy food, live music, and FUN!
You don't have to be a marathon runner to participate and support the schools! Come next year to see what we are so excited about, oh and if you happen to participate, you get a snazzy new T-shirt too...
