For every client that hires me as their REALTOR®, I make three promises.
- I will do what I say I am going to do.
- I will be brutally honest and not sugar coat things to try to butter you up.
- I will ask questions.
#1 sounds simple enough but life gets busy and things move fast. You have to be organized.
#2 is actually really hard for most agents. It's hard because you have to be confident in what you are saying and confident (knowledgeable) in what you are saying and know that the facts/truth are not always what people WANT to hear.
#3 may sound annoying and/or time consuming (like the kid that always asks why) but I do this because questions are key to success. Questions allow me to learn. The more I know, the better it will go.
What if I break one of my promises? If I can't make it right within 24 hours, cancel your contract.
