What Is a Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Super Real Estate Agent?
Being named a Mpls.St.Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Super Real Estate Agent is not simply a sales-volume award.
The recognition is based on client satisfaction, peer input, professional screening and industry review. The Super Real Estate Agents program says agents are evaluated on criteria that include customer service, integrity, market knowledge, communication, negotiation, closing preparation, helping clients find the right home, marketing of homes and overall satisfaction.
That matters because a high number of transactions does not automatically tell you what it feels like to work with an agent.
How Are Super Real Estate Agents Selected?
The selection process includes several stages.
Consumers, past honorees and magazine subscribers are invited to nominate real estate agents based on personal experience. Nominated agents are then screened against Minnesota licensing records and reviewed by a panel of real estate industry professionals.
The final list represents approximately 3% to 5% of licensed real estate agents in Minnesota, according to the Super Real Estate Agents program. Agents do not pay to be included on the list.
That combination of consumer feedback and professional review is what makes this recognition meaningful to me.

Does a Super Real Estate Agent Award Mean Someone Is the Right Agent for You?
Not automatically.
No award should replace your own evaluation of an agent.

Experience. Education. Negotiation training. Communication. Market knowledge. Reviews. Professional judgment. And whether you trust and feel comfortable with the person representing you.
Independent recognition can be one useful piece of that picture.
